SMTP Settings
Defining SMTP information is one of the most important processes that should be done once the platform is installed.
Each process that is done on the platform, handles a notification that will be sent to the user email so if the mail server is not configured properly, the system will be unable to send emails and you will face an error after each process is done.
To define the SMTP information, you should get the credentials from your hosting provider. After that go to your hosting file manager and navigate to the public_html folder and edit the “.env” file and define the SMTP settings.
Don’t forget to use the correct port and encryption. Port and encryption are related together. If you use cPanel or Direct Admin, you can ask support to configure the SMTP credentials for you.
